Following graduation from the University of Chester, Paul worked for a number of different PPI companies around Manchester. He was looking for a new challenge and wanted something more secure and this led to his employment at UKEM in August 2019.
Paul began at UKEM as a file handler with very little knowledge of the industry, however over the years, through UKEM’s in-house training and learning on the job, he has picked up a wide knowledge of Industrial Disease, particularly NIHL and M-NIHL files.
Paul enjoys keeping customers happy by ensuring the claimants receive the best possible service and high-quality reports from UKEM’s Medical Experts. He also loves learning new things about the industry and legal precedents.
A personal challenge for Paul is learning how to adapt to bigger teams within the company and the management that comes with that. Being a patient and resilient person helps with his day-to-day responsibilities.
In 2023 Paul embarked on a solo 105 mile cycle between Manchester and Hull to raise money and awareness for Bowel Cancel UK, following the diagnosis of a close family member.
He has also played guitar since the age of 12 and has played in numerous bands
