Biography
Sam Studied Civil Engineering with German at Nottingham University and is a Chartered Management Accountant.
He has held various senior finance roles across a number of industries over more than 20 years, including medical devices, food, biotech and agriculture. He was attracted to UKE by the growth opportunities for the business and the vision of the company’s future.
Sam’s role includes: Managing the cash alongside the Head of Finance and the finance team, converting UKEM’s aims into a viable financial plan, improving analysis and reporting to enable more informed business decisions and helping the finance team to work with the wider business as it grows.
Sam enjoys working with the team to solve problems and improve the business and he utilises a combination of analysis and communication, explaining financial numbers simply so the team understands the priorities.
