Clare Harrison

For the last 18 years, Clare has worked supporting clients who have been injured through accident or negligence. 

She has Diplomas in Financial Services, Operations Management and Business management.  

In her previous role at Frenkel Topping, Clare had overall responsibility for operations, the financial experts in the firm and the processes, procedures and client experience. 

Prior to joining UKEM, Clare also acted as a financial expert witness and post settlement financial adviser to injured people, their families, Deputy or Trustees.  She joined UKEM as she wanted to be a part of the growth and development plans at the company and to help the company focus on the service it provides to its clients to ensure UKEM demonstrates being the best at what it does in the industry.  

As Head of Strategy, Clare works very closely with the Director and the rest of the leadership team helping to support with improving process, efficiency and innovation across our services. 

Clare enjoys seeing plans and opportunities within the business being realised and seeing the training, development and progression of our existing team.

The role allows Clare to use her strong organisational and communication skills but more importantly allows her to think of new and innovative ideas and plans.  Implementing change can be difficult and challenging but this is also one of the most rewarding things fore Clare. 

In 2012 Clare did a skydive in Swansea and raised several thousand pounds towards treatment for a friend’s son, who has cerebral palsy.
